- A little bit about yourself
- I can play more than just flute(oboe, clarinet, guitar, recorder, piano) but flute is my main focus. I love it. I also love to sing. Many of my other passions (aside from music, which is always my number one) are writing (stories, "novels", poems, lyrics, music, etc.), photography, and theatre! I am an all around artsy person, except the fact that I can't draw. :( Anyways, I am 18 years old and I will be attending Appalachian State University this fall and I'm SO excited!

Something I have noticed is that if someone has recently eaten something sticky (candy, gum, ect.) or drank anything like soda, then the keys on their flute become sticky. You probably already know this but, NEVER chew gum while playing ANY instrume…
my flute is pushing the 40 year old mark prity hard. I use un gummed cigarette papers to clean my pads. the pads have only been replaced 3 times in almost 40 years. when i have a stickey key i stick a paper between the pad and the flute and press th…

As I sit here and chow down on my Lean Cuisine, I seem to have stumbled upon a lot of thoughts. One of which being, that the young man that I was dating when I posted my first blog entry is no longer in the picture. Don't you love irony? Again, i was very nervous so took far more breaths for this than i usually do, i get really cross with myself for being so anxious cos i just don't enjoy it as much as i should :(
how do you combat your nerves ? I even get stressed with a small solo in wind band !!! ggrrrr :(
