I play the Alto and Soprano Sax, and the drums. I have found over the years, that the Sax interferes with my embouchure. Having to transpose isn't exactly fun when I'm stuck in D-flat minor. It's always a gas to spank the skins once in a while. Doin…

awesome. That would be heaps of fun. Our school doesn't really do musicals, but at the moment our band is busy rehearsing for music festival which is in a few weeks time.
Yeah, I'll do that. Thanks.
I'm so ready to get back into marching band, I can hardly wait 'til August. The only thing I don't particularly like is that I might have to march flute again; upperclassmen (juniors and seniors) get first dibs at piccolo.
Eh, maybe. I don't know. There are a lot of other ensembles I can get into. I've had 3 years of experience in a high school jazz band, and that's good enough for me. If I did continue in college, though, I wouldn't do it my freshman year - I would already be too busy with other things. Besides, they have a flute choir and that could be fun ;)
RCC - I don't believe I know what that is. So you just have two more performances left. Oh, no jazz band? Well, I probably will end my jazz band career this year since flute players aren't a standard instrument in jazz ensembles. (We've kinda made it one here - there's actually 2 of us.) So... Unless my college band director suggests it, which I kinda doubt, I'm done. Otherwise, I'd have pick-up on my drum set lessons, which I really don't feel like doing. But college offers more ensembles than high school so I won't be too sad.
That would be so awesome. I have been asked to play a solo at our Founder's Day Assembly on Friday. I think that my teacher wants me to play Imagine by John Lennon. I have recently started working in a juice bar so that is pretty good to.
Yes, it has been awhile. And I am busy; May is generally the busiest month out of the entire school year, what with final performances, exams, and all that end-of-the-year stuff, it's chaos. Ha And being a senior puts more work on my shoulders. I have two concerts this week: choir and band, then next week another choir/jazz band performance, then the 25th a parade. But what about you - how have you been?
Yeah, I have been so busy lately with performances popping up everywhere. I thought things were meant to slow down after the school holidays, but they seem to be speeding up. So, anyway how have you been? Have you had your Spring concert yet?
well i have been extremly busy with flute choir, symphony performances. it has been crazy. i am also in the community marching band here in san antonio. that keeps me pretty busy especially with the piccolo section. how have you been?
