Where to put fingers on flute to begin?
I know that for the left hand, it is every other button, then you skip the middle button, then where does the right hand go ? I took a lesson and was shown...I should have written it down.
Also the rod on the foot joint is lined up with what on the middle joint?
Any help with this, sure would be appreciated.

Thank you so much. That helps a great deal and it is just like the teacher had said a couple nights ago. At my next lesson, I am going to write down the information the teacher instructs.

Lips is also very importance coz you can do lots of magic with your lips sync. Pay attention to your lips and breathing, train your lungs often - do a 10 minutes deep breathing in and out session before any practise. If you practise more enough, you can control the pitch, depth and tone of the flute with your lips too (even twisting effect), just like playing the harmonica, you can do crossing sounds as well, a very high impact skill. Keep doing your beautiful work.
