anyone hEre who knOws catholic songs? I'm a seminarian and so I would really love it if someone could at least offer any tactic on playing songs during masses!

I'm Catholic as well, and I play at my church frequently. My church has a lot of flute and organ music it has ordered, but if I decide to play a hymn I'll play a verse as an introduction and then the cantor will bring in the choir while I continue to play. Or I improvise, which is really fun if you know the song well.

Thats nice of you, how long then have you been doing that? Then your active in church!
I've just started playing the flute so by now, I believe it would be so difficult for me to do the same as what your doing, but i'll try!

hi here is my suggestion a song by sheila walsh of the let go cd called revelation song i play a lot at my church on the worship team for like communion we use usuall soft not a really high song a mello worship kind of song . really to play what are the accustiscs in the church does it echo or asourd sound a nother idea for a song is Jesus Messiah by chris tomlin off the hello love cd or even i will rise off the same cd . the big thing is not to be nervious relax hope this helps mark
